Gratitude IV

I just wanted to write about being grateful, and thought I could recycle something, but Gratitude III was about how crabby I was in the posts called Gratitude and Gratitude II, so I guess that ain’t gonna work. However, Gratitude III was about a full-sized sweet potato I grew in 2022. It actually grew outside of the pot and in the lead-filled dirt, so I returned it where I found it for whoever had started nibbling on it. And my apologies to the wildlife, but better you than me. I had completely forgotten about that, so my post earlier this fall about my first-time, full-grown sweet potato needs to be amended to first-time, edible, full-grown sweet potato. And that first potato gave me the idea to grow them in roomier bags, which of course led to the edible one. I’m not going to let worries about my memory distract me from this sweet potato goodness.

The point is, I am grateful this year for the many good people, places, and things in my life, with very little crabbiness. So I think that’s progress.

That’s all I got, and I hope you all spend this week doing what makes you happy.

This tree is NOT AI generated. It’s near my house and so striking.
